Auspicious Longevity — Handmade Aroma Amulet | BEYUL

A blessing, carved in the round.

This round medallion centres on the Chinese character for longevity, surrounded by interlaced dragon scrollwork. It is the kind of object traditionally given to mark a milestone — a birthday, a recovery, a new chapter.

Story & symbolism

Round amulets have carried protective characters for more than a thousand years. We kept the relief deep and the tone warm, then paired it with a hand-wrapped blue-and-gold cord and a single amber bead so the piece works with modern clothing rather than against it.

Materials & craft

• Medallion: hand-pressed relief, slow-cured
• Cord: braided, adjustable, up to 24 in / 60 cm
• Weight: approx. 20 g
• Materials: light-brown pressed-composite round medallion with the longevity character and dragon scrollwork, blue and gold hand-wrapped cord, amber bead
• Origin: designed in California, crafted in China

Aroma

A warm, rounded botanical aroma. The aroma is released by the pressed beads themselves — there is no added perfume, no oil to top up, and nothing to refill. Like any natural material it mellows over time; sealing the piece in the pouch overnight slows that process.

How to wear it

Worn on the cord provided — a natural gift piece. Remove before showering or swimming.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with water and direct sunlight.
