Guan Gong — Handmade Aroma Amulet | BEYUL

Loyalty, carved in dark relief.

Guan Gong is the traditional emblem of loyalty and fair dealing, and a familiar figure in East Asian business culture. Our medallion shows him in full armour against dragon scrollwork, pressed in dark brown and hung from a simple cord.

Story & symbolism

The rectangular silhouette borrows from ancient tally tokens rather than the more common round amulet. Every element — armour scale, dragon cloud, the amber bead above — is carved so the piece reads as an object first and a symbol second.

Materials & craft

• Medallion: hand-pressed relief, slow-cured
• Cord: braided, adjustable, up to 24 in / 60 cm
• Weight: approx. 24 g
• Materials: dark brown pressed-composite rectangular medallion with warrior relief and dragon scrollwork, amber bead, brown cord
• Origin: designed in California, crafted in China

Aroma

A dry, woody botanical aroma. The aroma is released by the pressed beads themselves — there is no added perfume, no oil to top up, and nothing to refill. Like any natural material it mellows over time; sealing the piece in the pouch overnight slows that process.

How to wear it

Worn on the cord provided. The rectangular form sits flat against the chest. Remove before showering or swimming.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with water and direct sunlight.
