Scholar's Clarity is pressed from a botanical blend and strung with matte purple beads, clear quartz accents, and a single metal spacer set with a red crystal. The palette borrows from the ink-wash studios of Song-dynasty China — few colours, carefully placed.

Story & symbolism

In classical Chinese scholarship, the studio was a place of restraint: a few objects, each chosen to hold attention. We built this piece around that idea — a deep, matte purple, kept light by clear quartz, and finished with one warm point of red. The result reads as quiet rather than austere, and layers well with plain gold or silver.

Aroma

A gentle botanical aroma that softens with wear. The aroma is released by the pressed beads themselves — there is no added perfume, no oil to top up, and nothing to refill. Like any natural material it mellows over time; sealing the piece in the pouch overnight slows that process.

How to wear it

Wear it as a decorative accessory — on its own, or stacked with a watch or a second bracelet. Remove before showering, swimming, or training.

Care

Store in the pouch provided, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Blot with a dry cloth if it gets wet. Because every bead is pressed and cured by hand, colour and texture vary slightly from piece to piece.
